How much clearance do you need for a sliding door?
Even with a sliding door or a folding door, a minimum 30-inch clearance is required for traffic flow in front of a door. When possible, allow a little more than the minimum clearances to invite openness and reduce the feeling of cramped space or clutter.
How big of a barn do I need?
A standard 24′ x 24′ barn can be enough to start, but if you expand, you’ll need more space. Many of our clients who use their barns strictly as shops, woodworking, welding, cnc, etc. find it beneficial to go with a 30′ x 40′ or slightly larger.
Can a door swing into another doors clearance?
